AFI DigiFest – Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation

We were proud to donate our time to help the AFI Digital Content Lab and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation showcase their recent online strategy for engaging youth in a series of relevant environmental action challenges. For nearly twelve years, the AFI Digital Content Lab has been the premier R&D incubator for new forms of digital entertainment and cross-platform engagement opportunities. We worked with other volunteer mentors on the project including, Irmelin DiCaprio (CEO & Founder of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation), David Gale (EVP New Media at MTV), Matt Wolf (founder of Double20, a gaming company) and Philippe Cousteau (Co-Founder Earth Echo) to name a few. The strategy developed uses the power of distributed content across the many platforms that are now available (Twitter, Facebook, Ning, etc) via multiple partner organizations.

DevExpress Graphics Package

DevExpress is a leader in software development. When they decided to launch an online channel to promote and support their products, they asked us to design a graphics package for their extensive content catalog. Using television conventions, we provided them lower thirds, countdowns, an open which reinforces their leadership position.  

American Revolutionaries Microsite

Building on the look and feel of the promotional campaign, Oishii developed a microsite to promote the American Revolutionaries series online.;

Tennis Channel Powerpoint

The Tennis Channel wanted its communications to represent them in the best possible light. A flexible powerpoint toolkit was developed to elevate presentations, increase consistency, and allow their sales team to focus on growing the business.  

BNN Intro

Beachbody asked Oishii to revamp their BNN online programming with a graphics toolkit. In addition to lower thirds and other elements, a compelling intro was created combining beautiful footage with a typographic treatment which reinforced the company’s core values.

NFL Network Digital Brand Book

In partnership with renowned marketing consultant Lee Hunt, we developed an online brand book for the NFL Network. The microsite provides focus as to who the network is and establishes a central location for all things related to the NFL Media Brand.  

Million Dollar Body Game Intro

Beachbody asked Oishii to revamp their web-based Million Dollar Body Game with an online graphics toolkit. In addition to lower thirds and other elements this intro was created to kick off the program.

The purpose of a website is different for every business. TAG’s website introduces visitors to its unusual product, all in a tone consistent with the fun of their games.
 

One Minute Trainer Intro

Oishii created this intro for Beachbody’s One Minute Trainer. The intro enhances perceived value among premium subscribers.
 

Ovation TV Upfront Presentation

Having done upfronts in the past, Ovation TV asked us to help create theirs. This time there was a twist. It was to be done in PowerPoint, raising the question: “How do you make PowerPoint not look like PowerPoint.” The answer, as it turned out, was through custom layouts for each slide and seamless transitions into and out of videos. The presentation was a huge success and has turned into an integral tool for marketing the network.  

TAG UI

TAG provides a way to play video games on a TV channel using just your remote. Creating a design which would work within their strict technical restrictions was a challenge. The result addresses technical considerations and provides the warmth and look of an established entertainment brand.  

NGTV Website

NGTV (No Good Television) recruited Oishii to help define their brand, manage their internal creative team and launch their channel. The result helped NGTV invigorate their creative and business plans and, in 2007, allowed them to successfully launch one of the most watched original content channels on the web. More viewers watch NGTV than ABC’s and NBC’s web channels combined.  

EA SPORTS In-Game UI
